Somewhere
Far across creation
A stork flew
Down over the land

While signs of God
Fruit across creation
From seed to flower
Another winged-flight

And you, being
Dream in animation
Stand tall
Give witness to delight

At home here
Stand in anticipation
Watch horizons
For you to arrive

The world will move
Circling around you
And all will
Soften at your sight

And you perform
A thousand minor miracles
When you pull
Love from the coldest of hearts

Take my hands
And make me useful
Open-hearted
Open dreamer

And this how the story will go
Someday you'll be alone
It might take a lot of love
Just to get up that day

Or you might feel God on your back
Whispering away
But upon turning around
You might find that she's gone away, gone away

But blow a kiss
That floats across creation
Across the land
And up into the sky
And you will find
The gift was to the giver
For all man, always it returns
